We now introduce you to Paliostafida, a beach unknown to most of the visitors although it is located at Lassi, one of the most touristic places on the island. Paliostafida means old raisin but don't think you can come across any raisin.
You can reach it if, setting off from
Argostoli, you turn right on the first road just after Méditerranée. There is no sign showing you that this is a way to the beach, but you will at least see a sign bearing the name Adonis Beach (i.e. Anthony's beach) which is, in fact, the same beach given a second name by the owner of the bar there who also rents parasols.
The two small beaches are connected by a lovely wooden "catwalk" which helps you pass over the rocks. You will have a beautiful view of the bay of
Lassi and ... of hotel Méditerranée which is not far from there. After swimming, you can go for a walk on the hill and enjoy the magnificent view on
Makrys Gialos or walk through the pine trees emitting nice smells and the beautiful houses, most of which are tastefully constructed and full of flowers.
