Trapezaki is the name of a pretty sandy beach in the south of the island Cephalonia.
As time went by, the name came to refer to the entire touristic area around. The chapell of the Madonna, the hamlet of Afrato (Agios Dimitris) and the localities of Stani and Kombi are now considered part of the Trapezaki district.
Unlike other resorts of Kefalonia, Trapezaki still has a country appearence, because of the numerous fields of olive tree and paste nearby.
